I am a 26-year-old Nigerian raised in the middle east since a very young. I am not your typical yoruba girl as I was not brought up in Nigeria or in Yoruba environs and I might not behave entirely as one. To me, religion comes first before any culture or tradition. So please if you come from a family deep into tradition and culture (with low regards to Qur'an and Sunnah, kindly do not bother). I am still a kind hearted human being with sound morals and manners, responsible, funny, hardworking that love meeting people from around the world as I was exposed to different cultures while growing up. I also grew up understanding and learning my religion, was also blessed to have gained a bachelor's degree in Information Technology. I am open minded too and I don't joke with my religion. I am a wife material with love for different cuisines. I don't have so much desire for the corporate working world as I have always looked forward on taking the role that Allaah has blessed a woman with which is to raise her children in the best way and to take care of her husband and his house. My perfect scenario of work would be earning money through freelance, business or in a halal environment with very less men interaction. Disclaimer: Just because I was brought up in the middle east doesn't automatically mean I come from a rich family. It was an opportunity from Allaah. Alhamdulillah, we are a middle class family, trying our best to serve Allaah in the way that pleases Him until we meet Him.
I am hoping to meet a practicing Muslim man who is open minded, humorous, romantic, responsible and some one who is serious about his religion. I get hot headed at times (sorry I took that from my dad) and I would like a man who is easy going and doesn't get angry easily. Would be nice if this some one was also exposed to other cultures besides his own or atleast willing to, some one that understands that tradition that goes against the sunnah is not encouraged in Islam. A husband material with the understanding of man's role in Islam, able to read the Qur'an. I can speak Arabic and I would love that my prospective husband is willing to learn if he doesn't already know it yet. My main goal in marriage is raising righteous children that are well versed in their religion as well as their worldly life. I am looking for a man that is ready to share his life with me to achieve this goal.
